Clé de Cartier Ref. WSCL0005

Introduced in 2015, the Clé de Cartier marked the arrival of a completely new shape within Cartier’s modern watchmaking collection. Its name, derived from the French word for “key”, refers to the watch’s distinctive winding and setting crown, designed to resemble a traditional key when turning the crown to set the time or date. Rather than simply serving a functional purpose, the crown becomes an integral part of the design, giving the watch an immediately recognisable silhouette.

This 31mm stainless steel, reference WSCL0005 is a particularly elegant interpretation of the Clé, presented on its original integrated steel bracelet. The rounded, softly curved case sits comfortably on the wrist, while the bracelet follows its contours seamlessly, creating a clean and uninterrupted appearance. Its proportions give it a refined presence without feeling overly delicate, making it equally suited to everyday wear or more formal occasions.
